Australia's law enforcement have called off the operation for a four-year-old who has been disappeared in the wilderness for almost twenty-one days, after fresh attempts proved unsuccessful to locate any evidence of the child.

The child was last seen engaging outside his home on a isolated rural property in the vicinity of Yunta, about 300km from Adelaide, on 27 September.

His grandmother stepped away for about a short period before looking for him, only to find the youngster gone, initiating one of the biggest comprehensive searches in the region's history.

Present Position

Authorities - who do not believe wrongdoing - say they will persist looking into, but that the situation has become a "recovery operation".

Recently, officials briefly scaled back the hunt, only to resume it on this week alongside eighty Australian Defense Force members.
